PRODUCT UPDATES for HYDRO-GEAR, KOHLER, MTD, and TECUMSEH:
Focus of our update program is to help keep owners, managers and technicians advised of new products, product improvements and changes, and parts and service bulletins. Products represented at update seminars will vary by PES distribution territory. Update Seminars begin at 8:30AM (coffee & doughnuts begin at 8:00AM).
SALES/SERVICE MEETINGS for HUSTLER and REDMAX:
These one-day/one-brand meetings will offer in-depth product information to PES dealers of these premier lines. Participation is strongly encouraged and will be viewed separately from our 2008 Live/Remote Product Updates. Further details will be included in invitations being released at a later date.
TECUMSEH or KOHLER COURSE-ONE (4-Day/Hands-On):
These classes follow a format developed by the manufacturer. Course-One is required for all new dealerships signed during the previous season; it is recommended for those wanting to improve their skills or prepare for Certification testing. Course-One is a hands-on program including the following subjects: Two and four cycle engine theory; Fuel, ignition and electrical system repair; Peerless drive systems; and troubleshooting in all areas. We also include parts look-up and filing warranties. On the final day you will conduct hands on failure analysis. Registration fees include classroom supplies, one certification test of student choice (separate pre-registration is required for all testing), continental breakfast, lunches and four nights double occupancy lodging (single-occupancy available for additional fee). Classes run 8:30AM - 4:00PM on days 1, 2, and 3. Class on day four runs 8:30AM to 1:30PM, concluding with lunch and followed by EETC, Kohler or TMT testing for those who have pre-registered for tests.
HYDRO-GEAR COURSE-ONE (1-Day/Hands-On):
Required for dealers signed during previous season; highly recommended every third year thereafter. Hydro-Gear hydrostatic transaxles, pumps and wheel motors are used extensively in commercial and consumer equipment. Repairable in the field, trained technicians can profitably address this service potential. Hands-on/lecture mix provides good understanding of operation theory, failure diagnosis/cause, and internal repair of this product
